Do they accept the "$25 off $75 Office Depot coupon" code over the phone?

Its in the circular ad at $78.xx, but clicking on buy this online now comes up with the $139 price. I'm guessing this is an in-store deal only, and there are no OD within 50 miles of me. Oh well.

I just ordered over the phone for instore pickup. I am pretty sure I was given a delivery option, but I want it now, not later, so I am picking it up today. No problem with price or coupon.

So far.

I just got mine over the phone, with $25 coupon and the $10 instant rebate. After tax my total is $88.96 - $30 MIR = $58.96...picking up today. :)

They apparently have no clue about the circular...because all she did was put me on hold for a second and I am pretty sure she was "acting" like she was doing something. I had to remind her about the $10 instant rebate several times and she even tried to ring me up without that included. Just call and *KNOW* what price you should be charged (calculate tax and everything) so you have less worrying on the phone. Go to the URL above and rattle off the specs of the deal as if you were reading it from your Sunday ad.

It *DOES* show up for them at $139.xx too...

If you go to the OD web page and click on the weekly circular at the right side of the page, you can navigate your way to this sale price online, but when you add it to your cart, the price goes back up. Call a CSR and walk her through the same navigation, and it should be no problem to get the price. Worked for me. Make sure to have your coupon number handy for the final $25 to make this deal hot.

It expired on the 15th of march, so would this new one be ok to get too?

First call the woman did not want to do it on the phone. "Instore only". So I hung up and called again, badah bing, badah boom. No problem. $90 total pickup price at my local OD. $60 after rebate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Edit. I should add that I used the $25 0ff $75 (duh) to get this price. :)
No where in the Maxtor 80GB ad (in the paper or on-line) does it say "in-store only".
Under their low price guarantee they have to give you the lower ad price.
(Office Depot Low Price Guarantee: As always, if you find a lower price on an identical product advertised for less at any other office products supplier within 14 days after your Office Depot purchase, please call us at 888-GO-DEPOT (1-888-463-3768) and we will match the price, instantly. Please be prepared to fax a copy of the advertisement when you call. If you find a lower price in one of our stores or catalogs, we will also match the lower price within 14 days of your purchase.
I just bought on OM. Called OM and asked them to match in store price. They said no!!! Instore only...So I asked them to pricematch with Staples...which they gladly did down to $109.94...They won't match to their own in store price but will match to someone elses...Go figure!
