I like the deals on the smaller HD's. Even though the $/GB isn't as good as some of the deals for a larger HD, you're not paying as much and if you know you don't need much storage then it's better to spend less and get the smaller HD.

Got one. Thanks. I padded my order with cd/dvd mailers that are on sale for $1.92 down from around $2.50. I added 3 packs of 6 to push it just over the $75 mark, so I could use a $15 off $75 coupon.

BTW.. The item number for the cd/dvd mailers is 444513 in case anyone is interested. I'm always sending cdr's to people, so this will come in handy anyway.

Its warm at best, the 80gb maxtor they had last week for $40 AR was a little better.

Good deal for those looking for smaller drives. Much better to get something new than some used junk from someone who packs it poorly or is outright broken to begin with.

You should be able to get out the door pre tax for around $30

The Sunday ad does not specify that the Hard drive is only for in store pickup, so they should Price Match the online price, make sure to print out the rebate, Office Depot pulls rebates sometimes.

I agree, I don't need 80 much less 120 gigs. This way I save at least $10 and lose nothing in terms of utility.

some of OD's codes/coupons exclude certain items..i.e. technology ones usually...and..no ..I do not have any OD codes..I usually go B&M with a competitors' coupon/code printout/email..

rasputinj, and all, thanks but that is the exact same coupon code I tried and they rejected. I even called them and the girl said that is a "non tech" coupon not valid in the HD.

Looks like OD has changed the $15 off $75 coupon to exclude technology. The $20 off $100 might work, but that really changes the deal.

In my opinion the deal is dead!!
