Logitech Wireless USB Music System for $45 shipped.

- Product Info
- The Deal

It may not be the most high-tech, but if your looking to get music from your PC to your home theater system this will do the job.

Is there anything like this, except instead of transmitting to a proprietary receiver the music gets transmitted to a vacant radio frequency? (thus, eliminating the special reciever)

Kind of like the ones used for mp3 players-->car radio -- except more powerful?

I never thought about that, but I did a search and came up with this (Click Here).
I'm not sure what the range would be considering the car transmitters are weak, but it's something to look into.

Just an FYI, I picked up the iPod version of this for a friend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it and is going to buy a few more bases for the rest of his place. He says the quality is excellent and that he's had no problems with it at all.
