I just tried searching steam for the game with my browser and client and it worked ok on my end.

Could it be this?

At the login screen, it wouldn't let me log in, it just kept doing the spinning loading animation, then, nothing.

Tried it just a few secs ago, and it works now.
I am guessing their server are just getting hammered.

Keep in mind that Steam Market has a lot of activity just prior to Summer Sale. A lot of "Mystery" cards change hands during this time. Which means a lot of crafting activity.
