Dead left channel on a Klipsch Promedia 2.1

The left channel of my subwoofer does not produce sound. I know that both speakers and wires work because I tested them on the right channel which produces sound. I borrowed a different brand 2.1 speaker from a friend and both channels work on it so I do not think it is the soundcard. My speakers are out of it's warranty period. Is there anything I can do?

problems the sub alright. and probably yea, u are probably out of luck. i don't suggest poking in subwoofers with amps.
