Dead Leaves in the Setting Sun

Not too shabby, very nice sharpness and detail on the leaves. Compositionally speaking (is that a word?) - I would prefer if the subject were not dead center. Off 1/3 to either side and a bit off the horizontal center would have been better. I also wouldn't have used a wide open aperture here, preferring to let a little bit of the other branches come through the bokeh. Nice bokeh btw.

Nice pic, but looks just a tad overexposed (there are some blown highlights) Maybe dial it down 1/3 to 1/2 stop in photoshop?

Not enough depth of field. Leaves on the back half of the plant are out of focus.
And yeah, a little overexposed

I believe that plant is called Bittersweet, btw. I concur with the overexposed consensus. Also, the composition seems a little off. It needs tweaking to make it more interesting. I like the focus as it is personally.

I think if he stopped down 1/3, the foreground leaves would be too under exposed... Those blown highlights are acceptable... IMO. If you want no blown highlights and full shadow detail, might as well make this HDR!
