I almost got this one earlier this year...but had to settle for the staples special $139 vivitar 3725 ! 😉

I would recommend to anyone that needs a digital camer to get NiMH batteries from SunBattery.com - Look for the Nexcell 1800 mAh AA + Maha Fast Charger kits. These guys are also on e8ay. - No i don't work for them, anyone here on these boards can vouch for their excellent products.

Thomas Distributing is another excellent seller of rechargeable batteries.
 
I tried looking for the camera in a local ad, but it seems all the ads for California are different to the one you found in Tennessee. Looks like this deal is no good in California.

You want to look for an auction like this. Nexcell and Powerex are excellent rechargeable batteries, 1800 mAH's are great, the MAHA 204F is consistently one of the best chargers out there, and you get a car adapter!
 
I am definitely gonna pick this camera up for this price but, I got a question.
If I go to my local B&M, will I be able to use the $30 off $150.

I purchased the Canon DX-3600 for a brief period of time. Granted, they are not the same cameras (3500 vs. 3600), but are of similar quality. I took lots of comparison shots between the DX-3600 and my Canon S40. The Canon S40 blew the Kodak out of the water. Then again, the Canon S40 was about 4 times the price of the DX-3600.

If you want so-so picture quality and only need a digital camera for a couple of quick shots every now and then - or, need a digital camera for selling items on the Internet, then this Kodak camera is a very good deal. However, if you want top-notch pictures and feel that you may be printing these pictures as 8 x 10" shots, then you might want to look for a camera from another manufacturer and one that has a higher megapixel size.

Consider the following:

1) Kodak is probably replacing this camera, so there are very few left in the supply chain and Office Max is selling them out at a great price.

2) Since this deal was posted a few days ago, many people have purchased the cameras up in advance and will go back tomorrow for the price adjustment.

This sale may not be in your city, so they wouldn't need to stock a lot a Kodak DX3500 cameras. You should be able to order it by phone using a coupon code or order on-line then call CS for a low price guarantee price ajustment.

I went out this afternoon to get the Sunday paper so I can plan my weekends buying spree and the ad was there.
I'm just going to call it in and have it shipped to my work so hopefully I'll be able to get it that way.
 
Well, I finally got one. They wouldn't let me use the $30 off $150 saying it was an online purchase only, so I went ahead and used the $25 off $100 code. Should be delivered on Wednesday.
