well we have a MSI K7N2 Delta2 Platinum running with a xp2200. the person who built the system did not install the hsf wrong. luckly the fsb was set at 100 and it did not fry but it ran at 60C at idle (underclocked to 1.3ghz with 1.5 vcore) so i put some as5 under the heatsink temps whent down to 34c. i the brought it up to stock speed, worked fine. but then i thought the ram might do better with 2.7v over the 2.65 it was at when i got it. after that the board will no longet boot. i get no video and every so often i get a beep, its a single beep that will repeat itself. i heve tryed videocards, reseting cmos (both jumpers, and battery), ram. im realy stumped here, any ideas of what it could be? the manual does not say what the beep codes mean.

If it's the Phoenix bios the beeps that you're hearing are memory related...beeeep, pause, beeeeep, pause, etc. You may have fried the ram.

thats what i was thinking but i have tryed the ram in other systems, and also tryed different ram in that motheboard.
