This appears to have been completely removed from the web site. So much for a sale through March 16th. I had been trying to get it online, signed up for notifications. It showed up in stock before 10am this morning. I couldn't get online until after 11, and it was already out of stock again. I called 10 stores, all were out of stock. By 5pm or so, I checked online again, and it wasn't even listed on the site.

This is really disappointing. There's not another phone with anywhere near this ones capabilities for anything close to the price.

i really wouldnt worry much. it wont be hard to find comparable phone on the bay for that price soon. and likely, someone else will have similar deals (or rs will have it again like they did on xmas)

Well, FWIR, this phone is being discontinued (at least on Virgin Mobile), due to the previous issues with it losing service, rebooting etc...
A firmware update eventually solved the issue, but it looks like it was too late.

It appears that the Virgin Mobile version is deactivated from the Best Buy site as well. The review page still works, but says "no longer available." It is still listed for Boost, and Sprint.

I guess I will just have to wait until another dual core 4.3"+ phone comes along around the $100 price point. Hopefully my Wildfire S will get me by until then. If you know of any similar deals on another prepaid carrier, plz let me know.

Looks like the something like the ZTE Avid on MetroPCS would be pretty close (4.0" vs 4.3" display), but not sure of the quality.

Maybe, and this is a big maybe, people will sell the ones they bought for $99. Still might be able to get a good price.

used, hell yes. new probably not for awhile. $120 might be seen though, because those ebay sellers dont care if they only make a couple dollars on each sale.

but if youre just going to use it unactivated anyway, why not buy used? as long as the wifi radio works well, youre good to go.

has anyone that claims their out of stock ever try going to a store? the last time they did this sale, they were in the back and it took the girl a long time to find them.

People want too much for used phones from my experience. And you have to be careful on fleabay, some of the zealots get carried away in bidding wars.

Maybe it is for the best because WiMax 4G is going to be replaced with 4G LTE eventually. That being said, I really wanted this for the bigger screen and more memory for apps than my old LG Optimus V.
