EDIT: It looks like the cashback reward went down to 5% if you go directly to HP store.
I was looking for a decent 14" laptop and was able to work out this deal.
I found that MS live cashback works with laptop purchases on HP.com. 20% cashback.
HP has instant rebates on several model laptops. Then there are 3 coupon codes that stack before the instant rebate:
$100 off $799 = NB0021
$150 off $999 = NB0023
$250 off $1299 = NB0031
You have to put in these codes after you put in your shipping information but you can test the code before you put in your credit card info. The codes may be limited use before the expire so act fast.
You need to first go to live.com and log in to receive cashback. (refer to this thread if you don't know what I am talking about.)
Once you are logged in for cashback, search for "HP". You will see a cashback link for shopping.hp.com. Once you click you will be shown the 20% cashback offer. Proceed to the HP website. Select the laptop you want. I chose the dv4t series.
