Which was posting a year ago when HL2 was originally supposed to come out.

I kept my pre-order open and never cancelled. Actually, completely forgot about it until now. Anyone else still have theirs open? If I look at my account history, I see the order still open, but if I try to open the order I just get a "Receipt Not Found" error. Anyone else getting this by chance? Wonder if they'll still honor this.
Also, I had to update my credit card info since the card they had on file had expired since then, lol.

Not that this is comparable, but I still feel bad for all those who preordered Duke Nukem Forever from companies that no longer exist :)

Preordering is for suckers IMHOP. Just buy the game when it comes out, or else you end up waiting 3 years and forgetting that you even preordered anything.

Or you can use Steam. Thas what i did. I paid more though... $50 for gold package. But my lazy butt doesnt have to move from my PC when its available. So factor in gas, time, tax, exercise.... lol... it might come out to be even.

I did, but CrapUSA canceled my order earlier this year because they couldn't guarantee when, if ever, HL2 would come out. No matter, I'm no longer interested in buying/playing this game anyway. I'm sick of their crap, and am spending my gaming $$ elsewhere.

So you aren't gonna buy the best game of the year because they kept delaying the game to make it even better? I don't see the sense in that, but whatever floats your boat.

they didn't keep delaying it to make it better, they delayed it and took some of the content off to get it out faster...
