This is 5900RPM drive but is as good as the 7200ARPM. Different platter configuration. This is a Retail box with a 5 year warranty. Offer Expires 10/22/09

I price matched it at Best Buy ($139.99), and walked out with 2 at $89.99 each plus got the Best Buy Rewards for the purchase. Installed 1 already, was easy. Then, just formatted it and partitioned it with the software that comes with it. Software looks like it has lots of features too.

I have one as a storage drive along with the 7200 version as the boot drive. The 5400 "Green" test about 20% slower.

Few consumers buying them in-store for the same price. Not sure if it's the same for all stores though. This is the San Diego store.
