hey great deal... i used to work in a photo developing lab..

gloss/glossy is what most pictures are printed on, its glossy when u look at it, drawbacks are that if ur friends handle the pictures the glossy finish will pickup fingerprints..


matte is sorta hazy when you look at it from an angle, less shiny, advantage is that it might look a little better as a poster.. and if people touch it it wont pickup fingerprints..

thats what the term means when you develop ur film.. im guessing thats what it means for this deal too..

What do they mean by "four bars" and "five bars". Do you e-mail in a scan and
they evaluate what the quality (graininess) would be?
 
what do people do if they have a non-digital picture? Do they have an address that you can send the picture in?

Can I send a 35mm slide. Can I upload a huge file? I have some nice pictures from Bryce Canyon National Park... I'll pay for the film scanning to get the free poster, still a good deal.
