Select the "Crazy Domain Insane" for one year. Comes out to $9.24/yr. with a free domain name if you use code "777".

It's 120gb/month bandwidth and 4800mb storage not too bad...

Deal just got hotter as Formisano just informed me:

This deal just got hotter, IMHO.

I signed-up for one year for $9.24.

Now, in my admin panel, on the "Registrations" tab, there is an option to "Renew".

Here are the options it gives:

1 year - $9.95
2 years - $19.90
3 years - $29.85
4 years - $39.80
5 years - $49.75
6 years - $59.70
7 years - $69.65
8 years - $79.60
9 years - $89.55

I'm serious.

I don't know if I should start a new thread about this, or if everyone will see it here. But this is HOT!!!

Again? Very hot! I got in on this same deal back at the end of July, and I've been extremely pleased with them. Their MySQL servers might stand to be a little faster, but everything else is great. 5GB storage space, 120GB/month bandwidth, shell access, tons of stuff...and even if you end up not liking it, $10 is hardly much of a loss :p

Do they offer whois guard for the free domain? Do I have to register a domain to get in on the deal?

I wonder when they'll disable that coupon code...

Anyone know how they check against existing customers? (I.e. domain name, credit card, address, user name, etc.) I did this last December, and I want to get in on this deal again... If I switched the domain to GoDaddy or something, do you think they'd cross-reference it with domains that they've hosted in the past?

Looks like it may just be time to switch from the two year 1and1.com deal that's due to expire in December.
Thanks, czech

Anyone already using dreamhost? Any review? Good/bad host?

Custom DNS, was wondering about this says No.

What all does their custom dns involve?

i got in on their $7.77 deal last year and they were nothing but great, and they always upped the limits for everything... when the year was up, i didn't want to pay $7/month and they didn't have any deals running (this was about 7 weeks ago) so i moved to another host whom im very happy w/

in any event... i have no problem saying that dreamhost was nothing but a pleasure for a hosting company - to date ive used more then a dozen and this is one of the top 3 ive used

I currently have hosting through them that is set to expire very soon. If I want to transfer my current domain to a new hosting company do I own the domain or does dreamhost?

When I signed up through them last week, I didn't get anything but a "Payment received email" for 2 days, unanswered support ticket for 24 hours, slow forums and control panel, and word that the mysql servers are slowish. I might switch back to Dixie sys 'cause Dreamhost's customer server sucks in comparison
