About time that the price on the GTX950 was reduced!

How does this compare (for gaming) with the GTX460, and the R7 260X (both 2GB cards)?

casually looking for an upgrade graphics card, maybe for around black friday or so. Lightroom and not very intense games (like CivV), but looking at a card for upgrading to 1440/4k or multi-monitor support in the future. Would this do me? Minimal research made me think that maybe a 960 would be about right. Might be a bit more powerful than I need but I typically look to futureproof for several years.

Right now I'm running an HD 6570 that I kept from my old build. (New build 4790k, Gigabyte z97x-ud3h-bk, Seasonic x650 gold).

Deal is dead. At it's current price, it's a poor value, imo. A GTX 960 could be found on sale for not much more.

I think the 950 would perform better than those other cards. But it's not a good value now that the deal ended.

I can't really say. I don't know enough about those requirements. Maybe someone else will chime in.
