And you need Steam to run it so, well, actually 4 bucks is still a bit cheaper.


Make sure you buy the DLC too. It adds lots of cool stuff.
 
If you decide to buy any one of the DLC, might as well just get the Legendary Edition.

The base game for $4 is really for those on the fence. Maybe not an RPG fan who wants to test the waters.

I don't think they have ever done a demo with the franchise, have they? The games are so famous and anticipated that it's probably not necessary from a marketing standpoint.
 
I hope you guys dont mind me coming in here and asking...I am a huge FPS type of guy so would I like a game like Skyrim ???
 
Now I know never to buy any games new...

Every DEV seems to end up releasing their games super cheap or free after awhile.

Thanks for letting me know about this, I loved Oblivion but never got a chance to play Skyrim.

That's really hard to say. Since you like FPS, I would recommend the Mass Effect and Borderland series. They infuse RPG elements into the FPS genre but without going overboard with it. If you find either one cumbersome then games like Skyrim is not for you.
