Chaintech VNF3-250 Board

I have been using the onboard ethernet for about a year now and everything was working fine. Then, my DSL connection goes down for about an hour, now I cannot get it to work again. I have two computers hooked up to the same DSL connection through a router, and the other works, so I know the DSL connection is fine. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix it, without having to reinstall windows? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the LAN. I also have a old PCI ethernet card, which doesn't recognize the signal either. Both recognize something is set up, the port still lights up, and windows says it is enabled, but I just get 0 sent/0 received. If you need any more information, I will gladly provide it. I will try most anything.

Thanks.

hey, did you recieve any error messages?

my guess is your on DHCP? am i right or wrong?

if your own DHCP. you're sure the hardware is installed properly and operating fine (it's just not seeing the network), you've tried to release/renew your ip address and no luck.

simply head on your other machine, get all the valid ip addresses and try it on static (dont leave it on static though-if you get on the internet); your isp wont be happy with your static decision if their setup is DHCP/ - and they find out.

if it doesnt work on static/auto - you could have a socks corruption with XP (assuming you're on XP). if it's a socks prob.... uninstall TCP/ip, your ether setup in the rig, hit the registry, remove your sock files and reinstall it all.

i hope that helps!!
