Also, the link to the review is misleading as that one has a different video card.

That is a good deal. I paid about $900 for mine after a $500 coupon a few weeks ago.

I noticed that too ... but I'm willing to let it go. I was thinking about
dropping in a ATI mobility X300 card after the fact (should be do-able)
if I can't deal with the Intel Integrated graphics.... but this wasn't bought
to play games... so I may be able to live with it.

nice catch. I'm wondering if they'll honor this, though...

dont see why not.

seems like this is a special evalue code for the review and the coupon is there cause its on all of the 6000 notebooks.

The price point for these things is a grand, which is cheap considering the 60 gig hd and the dvd-rw. The ability to get a system like this for $650 makes this looks like a price mistake. People are going to start buying tons of them for ebay.

Is it worth the extra $100 to get a 15.4 inch UltraSharp WSXGA+ LCD Panel or pay another $150 ($50 more than the WSXGA Ultrasharp) for the 15.4 inch UltraSharp WUXGA LCD Panel? I rather have a nicer screen than a longer battery life.

And how do we get the $250 off coupon?
