Currently Amazon is running specials to some of its customers on Kindle Products.
To see if you are one of those members go to amazon, log in, and search for the product you are looking for. Go to the product homepage and see if you see a yellow banner that looks like this.
Click on the coupon link. Then add the desired item to your shopping cart
$50 off Kindle ($69-$50=$19)
$75 off Kindle Paperwhite ($119-$75=$44)
$50 off Kindle Fire HD ($139-$89)
$75 off Kindle Fire HDX ($229-$75=$154)
I was eligible for the discount, I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite for $44. On a second order 2 minutes later I purchased a traditional Kindle e-reader for $19. Note I had to purchase these as separate orders for if I did it on the same order I was eligible for only one discount.
I am a current Amazon Prime owner, that said I turned off my subscription as soon as I saw the price raising later this year.
I do not own a Kindle or Kindle Fire.
I purchase Kindle books and read them on Android tablets.
I have not used recently Amazon Instant Videos (free or paid). I have purchased in the past years ago Amazon Instant Videos paid.
