Compusa also has the laser printer on sale in store they are out of stock online so you have to try a store the your zipcode. They have a instant rebate of 50.00 brings it down to 99.99 and a MIR for 50.00 the final cost $49.99.

This is FLAMING!!!! If you bought it from staples or office max, you can try to see if they will price match. If not, you can use Amex blue to price match if you used during the purchase. This would bring the printer down to $20!!!

puppyfriend: how much did you get back from officemax? also it's listed as sold out on compusa, they still pricematched for you?

RonType1: would amex blue pricematch "sold out" items?

They credited me $50. It should have been 57.50 with 115% price match, but they didn't take into account the 30 off 150 coupon I used. I was only expecting $20 because of it so I didn't complain. I called a CompUSA and it was still in stock at San Rafael here in the SF Bay this morning. I told him that but I don't think he checked since he was only gone for about 10 secs to confirm it.

I dont think pricematching would work for me because it is out of stock. I wish I could use amex blue, but sadly I dont have an amex blue, well my mom doesnt want to get one. O well.

just got back from CompUSA. I made sure they had them in stock before I left (and they did).
Turns out they had at least 5 sitting out, but
THIS IS NOT A VALID DEAL!!!
The price is $199 with no rebates! It was $99 yesterday but that deal has ended!

I asked about any other deal and they said NO!

This is a valid deal, go to the CompUSA website and click on in store specials. They are sold out online, but when you type in 94123 (my zip code). There are still some left for $49.95 after rebate at CompUSA B&M.

My comp usa has one left but they say it was last week. They are so stipid! They said they will call the corporate office tomorrow to make surebut I will also call the corporate office myself to bake sure they arent lying. If someone could post their receipt with the $99.99 price on it, it would be real helpful. THANKS!!!

This is valid because i did it today you have to take the printout with you. Compusa near me had 2 and the Manger looked it up on the website and gave it to me for the 99.99. He even said boy that is cheaper then last week.

I snagged one at the Clearwater FL store for 99.99 and the mail in rebate coupon for fifty more off. Initially the sales rep looked up the price on the web site by sku and like someone else posted, it showed 99.99 thru 03/16/02. Upon seeing that he gave me a SOL look. I had not printed out the page (ink jet is out of ink, hence interest in a new printer). I told him I was bummed because I had sat on the causeway from Tampa to Clearwater for over an hour in traffic which was 100% true. I'm not sure why it evoked such a sympathetic response from him but it did. He said "let's take this thing up front and see what we can do". He did the CYA bit by telling the store mgr what the web site showed (tactfully neglecting the 03/16 expiration bit) and I was rung up and out of there for 99.99 plus tax 5 minutes later.

I guess I've been livin right :)

I got this puppy installed now (don't even need the driver cd under WinXP). This thing prints FAST and text is nice and sharp. I'm setup thru USB. I really, really like this, the price is icing on the cake.

Can someone explain how buying it with Amex Blue will bring the final price down to $20? I can't figure this one out.
