If this deal is legit (not a pricing error, accurate description, etc.) don't forget 2% back from eBates.com

These cards aren't retailing for $399, that's the GeForce 4 4600 that is retailing for 399.

I think these probably retail for about $140 or so. Still a decent deal, but they use old architecture and are NOT DX 8.0 cards. You would be much better off with a GeForce 3 Ti200 if you can find one cheap.

Sorry to sound like a crapper, but I believe you have been misinformed.

On a side note - nVidia is really screwing a lot of people up with these names. First 'Performance Ratings' from AMD and now this... :(

If you look at 'Pricewatch'...says you can get one for $116

this card isn't the real GF4 we're all waiting for.....

Quote from AnandTech Reviews...

"We can't feel more than a little disappointed by the GeForce4 MX however. The $99 GeForce4 MX 420 will be a good replacement for the current GeForce2 MX, and the $149 GeForce4 MX 440 may be justifyable but the $179 MX 460 makes very little sense to us"

$30 off, not "HOT! HOT! HOT!"

I think you are thinking of the GeForce 3 Titanium 500 for around $349. The MX version does not compare to the TI...

Just FYI, not meant to bash to bad

EDIT:Sorry, in the few minutes it took me to verify before I replied there were a few other responses. Didn't mean to sound redundant

just for curiosity, what games support this high end card now? even for the TI 4600?

im doin well with Quake n Unreal at 1600x1200 with the force 2 ultra. wolf is stunning too! wow! so beside the obscenely insane faster frame rates with 4600 or mx series, would picture quality be better for current games?

Both Wolf and Max Payne look a LOT better with my GeForce 3 Ti200 than they did with my old GF2 GTS... picture quality is better in the sense you can turn on more options/play at higher resolutions.
