Dead DDR RAM - Killed by Epox 8K7A DDR Adjust?

Hey All,

I was wondernig, the default setting for JP3 (The "DDR Adjust" Jumper) on the Epox 8K7A Motherboard is +0.1V

Can anyone tell me what this means? Should this be set at the default +0.1V or should I bring it down to +0.0V?

I just built my system using some nice Crucial PC2100 CL2.5 DDR and after about a day or so the RAM is dead. The system on rare occaisions exhibited some "bad ram" symptoms since the first time I booted it, but for the most part everything was OK until today. I was surfing the web and the system died and continued to make a beep code in non-stop regular intervals. It wouldn't boot up again until I replaced the RAM. Now everything is hunky dory.

Could it be that the DDR Adjust killed the RAM? Or is it more likely that I just got a bad stick? I don't exactly know what DDR Adjust does and don't want to damage more RAM if this was the cause.

All input welcome and appreciated

Yup +0.1V was the defualt for me too. Just not sure what this means exactly. Is this 0.1V higher than what DDR DIMMS are supposed to run at?

Anyone?
