Dead: it was a deal for the week of 9/14.
Compusa has the Altec Lansing ATP3 set for $30 after a $30 rebate this week.
I have a set that I got for $40 + $15 shipping. Admittedly, the bass is kind of weak, though that can be upped via equilizer. No headphone jack, unfortunately. It doesn't sound as "full" as the BA-735's I have that Compgeeks also sells for $15 refurb sometimes. But then again, it's been rumoured that Altec Lansing uses cheaper (more inferior, lest costly) components in these now than they used to when the ATP3's were first released.
Not too bad for $30, but not really worth retail $80 IMHO. Not very bassy but others claim this set's midrange and high frequencies sounds pretty good.
Edit: just thought of something else. Since the rebate is valid at Cusa only, you may be able to PM to CC for the AR price and leave the door paying $25 (after 110% PM). Just be sure to print a rebate and show them where it says valid at Cusa only.
