Would be remiss to not point out that resellerratings should only be one factor in determining a purchase, primarily due to the majority of those that are satisfied with their buying decision seldom report their experience. Also might notice a number of the reviews on the first few pages mention "product" in the generic sense, and do not specify the item purchased; this very well could be related to either specific product found here or here, and the experience of those involved in those purchases.

In purchasing easily over $3,000 worth of products from Buy.com in the first eight months of this year, have yet to have anything but an excellent buying experience. Not to suggest those reporting negatively on resellerratings.com are incorrect or should not be taken into account, of course - merely offering another personal view point. The decision is of course left up to the individual end consumer.

I understand that as I myself work for an online retailer listed on resellerratings.com and I know our rating is not accurate since satisfied customers tend not to report. However, the deceptiveness that many speak of is something that I don't think ratailers should be rewarded for. Anyway I'm still considering this deal since I could really use a SD card and a USB 2.0 thumg drive but they don't have one in 512MB.

Thanks, i missed this deal (i don't always check my Buy.com "spam") and really do need a 128MB CF card for my Canon A300 (the included 16MB is ridiculous). . . for $8.68 (i got stuck with the $1.67 CA tax) after MIR it's a good hot deal.
