Wow, that is a killer price on a feature rich printer! Automatic duplex, 4 individual ink cartridges (with both standard and high yield available), claimed 33 pages-per-minute black and 27 pages-per-minute color (EDIT: 12 black / 10 color for "ISO/IEC 24734 print speeds"). USB 2.0 and 802.11b/g/n wireless Ethernet, no wired Ethernet.

That link is to a black only, not color. I don't see a color for that price. Maybe they sold out of the color.

I have this printer. Bought it for $40 back in the day. It is a good printer, but be warned. The cartridges dry out all by themselves even if you don't use them at all. They'll be completely empty in 6 months or less. I don't see 3rd party cartridges elsewhere/cant find any, and the brand name cost an arm and a leg.

I just taped over the sensors with dark tape and it shows full at all time. I just use fax and scan functions.

Doesn't that happen with all inkjet printers? Especially if you don't use them regularly. Very regularly... That's always been my experience, anyway.

New 3rd party cartridges come out to just over $2 a piece :)

Don't you need to pry off/replace chips to make those work though?

Nope, just pop em in. Used similar ones in my parents brother all-in-one and they worked fine. (Caveat: it appears some people have to but most don't, never had the issue myself).
