Very tempting. I haven't been able to find out more details about this thing though (reviews). Seems like a good deal, thanks for posting.

The only real negative i've read about these is tht they don't do as good as a job scanning (esp with skin tons) as hp/canon/epson.

The positive is that for people who print occasionally consumer report recently reported that brothers waste the least amount of ink (cleaning cyle) by far.

new brothers use chipped ink!

You can buy a resetter for the LC103 cartridges, so cheap refillable cartridges might not be too far away. And Best Buy often sells the 475 version of this printer for $49-$69. Last week it was $59. Dont know what the difference is between the two models, so just an FYI.

You can also just search for third party cartridges...there are none that dont require a resetter or taking the chips of the Brother cartridges and resetting it.
