No touchscreens controls, wired support, duplexer or media slots (not a big deal for most).

Solution for those with printers that don't recognize cartridges
As other reviewers have already covered how this ink is cheap and works, I won't go over that. I specifically want to point out a solution to the problem faced by a few when the printer does not recognize that the cartridge has been installed.

The same thing happened to me - I installed the Magenta and the Yellow inks in my Brother MFC-3360 all0in-one printer/fax/scanner device. The magenta ink was recognized instantly, but the printer kept thinking that there was no yellow ink cartridge installed. After multiple reboots of the printer and computer could not resolve the issue, I took out the cartridge and examined it closely.

There is a small plastic cover on the lower end of the cartridge with a ink nozzle behind it. This is different from the tab you have to remove before installing the cartridge. The printer makes a small perforation in the ink nozzle plastic cover, that allows it to withdraw ink from the cartridge. I noticed that the perforation was not made very well when I inserted the cartridge in the printer in the first go-around, and the plastic cover was obstructing the ink flow. I used a pair of scissors to make a clear hole and re-installed, and now the printer is able to recognize the cartridge.

Thanks for this. Picked one up today for the price I can't see how it can be beat and the compatible cartridges are dirt cheap. Kind of a pain to setup the wireless but then again a lot of them are. So far so good.

This thing is incredible. Best printer I've ever owned. Wifi, self regulating, little LCD screen for messages, cheap ink, and it's a 4 in 1!!! When meritline has a sale, you can get 2 sets of ink for $9.95 shipped as well!

Doesn't appear so:

how the heck is the ink so cheap? I almost didn't click on the thread because it was an inkjet but the prices on the ink is ridiculously low.

I work at officemax. That 20% promo doesn't apply to printers or most electronic items. But, it is good on ink.
