Last year I had a bird that would repeatedly fly into my front window. Bam... shakes it off and does it again 10 seconds later. This would go on for 5-10 minutes a couple times a day for weeks.

I have a couple of birds repeatedly attacking their reflections on my patio door. This has been going on since early spring. Fackin' stupid annoying birds.

What is that? A European / Common Starling? Doesn't quite look like one but that filthy invasive species need to die before they finish killing off our Bluebird population.

Seriously a main carrier of West Nile virus are birds.
Dispose of with gloves, tie up in a bag.

Uhh, authorities only wanted to know about dead birds when they were tracking the spread of West Nile in the US. It had nothing to with them being dangerous to handle. You cannot catch West Nile from a bird. A mosquito must bite the bird and then bite you. In regards to West Nile, it's safer to handle now than when it was alive and capable of attracting mosquitoes.

It looks nothing like a starling.

Coincidentally, I saw a bluebird this morning and another bird today that looked like a starling. I gave Casey the whole explanation about bluebirds.

I always wondered where all the dead birds go. You look around and see hundreds of them every day, but rarely do I ever see a dead one. Maybe they have found a place to rest.

I've seen countless dead birds in my lifetime. Try opening your eyes when you're out walking or driving. You'll see them.

I had a crow run into my patio door once. It felt like someone threw a freaking brick at it. LOL. The crow just flew off after. A little harder and it was probably going right through.

As for why we don't see them a lot, I think it does not take long for other animals (like crows) to pick them up.

it appears to be a young male robin. I could be wrong.

He lives in Illinois.
