Good price, but features are lacking. Only two HDMI, and no VGA input? LAME. I need either a TV with three HDMI, or at the very least, two HDMI and one VGA.

HDMI splitters are cheap and work nicely
No TV I have ever owned has enough.

Great deal. There may be better door busters but you will need to be in line at least 24 hours before opening to stand a chance.

From what I hear "door buster" tv's are more cheaply made then normal ones and are reserved just for the sale. They apparently break quite frequently.

It's a 40" for $160 shipped. Concessions have to be made at this price point.

nice price but insignia is not known for being good quality.
I bought the 32" version of this model pretty much exactly one year ago on a similar sale and it's a great TV. Really well reviewed too, as is this one.

Looks like it... I forwarded this deal to my friend who jumped on one yesterday. So far so good... It is a beautiful display.

Not sure if it is dead today, but I picked one up yesterday (11/11) at a local store. I had to ask for the model - I couldn't find it on the floor. The salesperson was very helpful though. I hope that it is still valid, as I was thinking of telling a friend about it. (Oh, yeah, the website price is now $229, which was $159 yesterday.)

Just got it set up this morning; very initial thoughts are that it is a very nice display. I only messed with it enough to verify proper connections to various devices, however.

Learned something new, too: you can connect composite video to the 'Y' input of component. I as at first a bit fearful that I might not be able to hook up my very simple cable box (just basic cable, no HD, only composite video output) because the TV doesn't have a dedicated composite input. But while setting up the input names (you can change the names of the different inputs to any of a short list of selections) this composite/component connection was displayed. Very handy, and I hadn't ever known that.
