don't forget about tax.
with 8% tax in AZ, if you pay $250 that would be about $20. Even more if they count tax from $300.
So it will be $170 after MIR (retail, 3yrs warranty) VS Dell $142 clean (rebadged, 1yr warranty)

Beg to differ....Dell's $125 "JB" drives beat this hands down.

Sweet Jesus! Will the madness ever stop? At this rate, we'll be seeing 100Gb+ drives in the sub-$50 range by Xmas next year.....after rebate, and PM of course You'd think that WD is trying to buy the market, or something..

not even close. not only do you have to deal with a MIR but it still is more than the $140 or $125 shipped price from dell. besides im pretty sure its the regular BB version with 2 meg cache. dont forget tax in most states.
