(DEAD) Western Digital 120GB 7200rpm Hard Drive (# 20148555 ) $299.99 - $100 MIR - $25 off $100 OfficeMax coupon (Exp.4-30) = $174.99 At officeMax

If you have OfficeMax store near you, what you can do is print-out the page with the $25 off $100 coupon on it, and take that to your local store, and tell one of those friendly OfficeMax managers that you were going to buy the drive on-line, but they were out of stock and would he honor the $25 coupon, so you can purchase the drive from him. This has worked many times before, for a number of poeple, but it up the to manager to decide to honor the $25 on-line only coupon or not.

don't forget about tax.
with 8% tax in AZ, if you pay $250 that would be about $20. Even more if they count tax from $300.
So it will be $170 after MIR (retail, 3yrs warranty) VS Dell $142 clean (rebadged, 1yr warranty)

<< Now, this is the deal of the year. >>

Beg to differ....Dell's $125 "JB" drives beat this hands down.

Sweet Jesus! Will the madness ever stop? :D At this rate, we'll be seeing 100Gb+ drives in the sub-$50 range by Xmas next year.....after rebate, and PM of course :p You'd think that WD is trying to buy the market, or something..

not even close. not only do you have to deal with a MIR but it still is more than the $140 or $125 shipped price from dell. besides im pretty sure its the regular BB version with 2 meg cache. dont forget tax in most states.

If you purchase the Western Digital 120GB HD now you can also receive a FREE CD Player with Speakers by mail, offer expires Sat, 4-27.

CD player offer requires original receipt and UPC ,while the $100 MIR only requires the capacity label and a copy of the receipt. Both are posted at the beginning of this thread.

What about PMing the drive to somewhere(I saw a couple of e-tailer had it for ~$200)?

$300-100PM- $100 MIR = ~$100 + tax + free CD player

I'm gonna get in on this for sure

yapapa

Check back on Sunday, they might have it back up on their web site by then, or if you have OfficeMax store near you, what you can do is print-out the page with the $50 off $250 coupon on it, and take that to your local store, and tell one of those friendly OfficeMax managers that you were going to buy the drive on-line, but they were out of stock and would he honor the $50 coupon, so you can purchase the drive from him. This has worked many times before, for a number of poeple, but it up the to manager to decide to honor the $50 on-line only coupon or not.

If you follow the thread over at F-twallet, you can get this drive for $98 with an AMEX pricematch( last hurrah).
OfficeMax has the Western Digital 120GB WD1200BRTL for $299.99 - $100 MIR = $199.99 - $101.99 PM = $98+Tax

Link to pricematch- Pricematch here

There is also a thread to a 50 off 250 which will mean less dough put up front waiting for the pricematch.
