Doesn't come with a OS, need to reformat and reinstall windows xp or 7.

How to Boot from USB
Plug in your USB flash and hit the power button. As soon as you hit the power button, start tapping the ESC key. This will bring up a window that shows you two or three boot locations. Select the USB flash or something it says similar and it should start your installation.

Hmm... what's the battery capacity on this? If it's at least 4400mAh, then you can get at least around 6 hours of battery life doing web browsing and productivity. At $200, not bad at all.

Just don't put Windows 7 on it unless you want extremely sluggish performance.

Looks like a 3-cell battery from the reviews on newegg (3-4 hours). I prefer a 6 cell myself for the longer battery life.

My wife has one of these and it works fine with Win7. She uses it for basic web browsing, office, etc.
