You should get atleast the power indicator light glowing even if the
batteries are bad.
Have you tried pushing the RESET BUTTON on the OVERLOAD PROTECTOR
located on the back of the unit?
The common problem, especially if coming out of a corporate enviroment is
the power cords generally get nicked, kinked, cut, so you may want to do a
visual inspection of the cord it self.
If when pressing the reset button it pops immediately, make sure the batteries
are disconnected and then try again. If it fails again, try another 110 outlet (also check
back of unit for SITE WIRING FAULT indicator lamp).
