So Microcenter has slashed prices on all of their Ryzen cpu's and you still get $30 off any motherboard with purchase.

Here's the best deals right now:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6 Core AM4 Boxed Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler $169.99

AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Summit Ridge 3.0 GHz 8 Core AM4 Boxed Processor with Wraith Spire Cooler $219.99

    AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 3.6 GHz 8 Core AM4 Boxed Processor $329.99

Great prices but available only in-store. :)

Sometimes I wish I lived close to a Micro Center to get these amazing deals, but then at the same time, I'd likely be a lot more broke because I would go there way too often.

These CPU prices (and the 8600k in the other thread) are nice.

Sweet! Great deal on the 1700, to get yourself into an 8C/16T desktop CPU. Not bad on either other ones either. (I'm pretty sure I paid $219.99 for my first Ryzen 5 1600 CPU from Newegg. Now you can get two more cores for the same price, at MC!)

Lol. at MC you gonna pay SALES TAX so that's the same price other online retailers got for sale.

You might want to look again at the prices. When MC puts their CPUs on sale, and then gives another $30 off if you buy a motherboard, that's very tough to beat. Even with the sales tax, you will not find that online. I know sometimes they aren't much cheaper, and even around the same price.

For example, the Ryzen 1700x is $239.99 and the 1700 is $219.99. Outside of Refurbforless (when they have a coupon) on Ebay, link to any legit retailer where you can buy if for less. Because all I see are the 1700x at $299.99 and the 1700 for $288+.

I bought my 1700X and Gigabyte AB350 at MC for 229.99 and 49.99. After another 20.00 rebate, it was 30.00 for the MB. Crazy... Other stuff, not so good- they never have good prices on video cards but no one really does these days.

    Not even close.

Besides, you are supposed to pay tax on every online order you do. Check your state tax forms. :p

You've got to pay sales tax on that stuff too, and every online retailer I've used includes it in your price. The ability to browse and easily return stuff makes Microcenter the place to be.
