4k pass, network, airplay ect

only downside is no Audessey - however YPAO isnt as bad as people think

Are there actually two different channels for subwoofers, or just two plugs? If it's two plugs, it's really no different than using a cable splitter, and it's really just 7.1 (marketing aside).

Depends on the AVR but in general you are correct - the top end models let you do different things to each

When setup correctly in the correct space yet - most however don't need it
