I don't know what happened to it, but my A7V133 seems to have died...

I sold it to a guy from out of town, who got his friend to pick it up and deliver it.
I took it out of a my (perfectly working) system, straight into an anti-static bag. When it arrived it did not work. Because I promised to refund the guy his money if anything does not work, it was delivered back to me.

I don't have a clue what happened to it in transit, but right now it is not showing any signs of life. The LED on the mobo does not go on so obviously no power is getting to it. The fans don't move even slightly, and i get no beeps...nothing. I tried it with 2 cpus, no difference. The power supply works fine - i tried it with a different system. And there are *no* signs of any damage on the board itself.

Does anybody have any suggestions as to what could possibly be wrong with the board? Any ideas for troubleshooting?

Yeah, it must be something with the power circuit...
What I am wondering is what could one do to it to go from a perfectly working board to one that is completely dead...

aaah man if a perfect system just crashes then i would think of 2-3 causes nothing related to mobo...first it might be the static...second it could be the capacitor...or anyother component that might have been either borken during shipping...or ur shipping or when the person u shipped to was the casue....

then if also can be that the person did not hook up the thing right and blew something....

btw what bios were u using last on the mobo...i am using 1008 verson..and its working like a charm..but the thing is 1009 is out and i was wondering if its any good...

TIA
