[DEAD]12 pack Sharpie Retractable Markers

Saw this on slickdeals. In for 2 x 2 (my and my GF are sharpie nuts) at my local OM in Emeryville, CA. This deal was HOT!!!!!

Emeryville is my local too (practically across the street from Pixar Studios!). I may stop by tomorrow and try to snag a couple (or maybe just one, they are 12 packs after all). Is this normal Sharpies, the wide ones, i.e. the lines are almost 1/8th inch wide? I have a lot of those. I need some narrow width Sharpie like writers, preferably that are safe to use on CDs and DVDs (burnables).
 
I think that means "Limit one coupon per customer", because in the lower right hand corner, it says "Limit 2", which I think means limit to 2 packs per coupon.
 
The first time I tried to get 2 with one coupon, the price of the second one rang up at something like $22. So, I bought just one.

The next day, I returned with two coupons, and had the person at the counter process two separate transactions. He did not seem to mind, because I had a coupon sitting on top of each 12-pack, it when I handed them at the counter.
 
I went with someone, and they only had two packs of the retractables, so the manager was nice enough to substitute the $10 pack of 12 colored sharpies (with covers) for the same $2. This is a really good deal.

Hit the Leominster, MA store, they had plenty left, got 2 x 2 packs.

So now I have seven packs, and my friend has one pack. What to do with all these sharpies? 🙂
 
yeah i went to the closest store this afternoon and some guy had walked off with the last two. of course some other location out in the boonies probably has 200 in stock

My local store was OOS, but the manager wrote a note on the coupon for them to honor it later.

SOBs treated me like crap. I couldn't get a damned thing from them.

I went in there Thursday afternoon and they were OOS. They wouldn't write me a rain check. I said I was driving south along 880 and asked if there were any OM's at shopping centers along the way and they said Whipple Ave. and one in Milpitas, my ultimate destination. I stopped at Whipple and they were OOS. I didn't bother stopping in Milpitas (I didn't see it. Wasn't given the address, just told it could be seen from the freeway, but I didn't see it, and probably wasn't going to waste my time anyway). Went into the same Emeryville OM yesterday that was OOS to start with and they were still OOS. A worker said I could ask at CS if they'd let me have the capped 12 pack of thin tipped markers instead or the 8 packs. They refused, and also refused to write me a rain check. I threw my hands in the air and left all that plus my print out of the coupon on their counter and left the premises. Next time, I won't waste my time going in there without calling them first and confirming that they have stock.
