I've heard that myspace is a pretty good social networking tool. I want to try it out more but I absolutely can't stand the hideous pages that come about!
I don't care if myspace gets a guy laid, the pages are so ugly/color-clashed/horrid it drives me crazy!

Is there any way to make it all look normal? To de-myspace, so to say? To make the pages look all clean, like how a default page would look? Would a particular browser or tool help me with that?
 
I'm definitely sure that GreaseMonkey can do the job, but you would either have to locate a script or write one of your own seeing as this is a bit unusual request.

i dont want to edit my profile. i want to make it so that i cant see anyone elses messed up profiles, except for the essential text 🙂

all you'd need was a custom web browser 🙂 of course I wouldnt take the time to write one, so I'm wondering if there is an easier solution out there.

maybe a firefox extension or something? lol.

Hey, smart guy, pay attention. You can completely customize everything about your myspace page with that editor.

You can't change someone else's f'ed up page.

However, you CAN still read the profile editor page, regardless of your opinion.

couldn't you write a plugin for firefox to automatically reformat the site?

similar how plugins were written to delete certain posts from ATOT?

O RLY? I'm pretty sure that the OP stated that he didn't want to change the look of HIS profile. And if that website design doesn't suck, then pigs can fly.

A plugin is not server side, it can't delete posts. It can only hide them. And yes, one was written before.

I mean a script that would simply change all font to black and default background to white, would be monumental enough for me 🙂

Check out UserScripts.org... Probably your best shot at finding what you're looking for, they have TONS of scripts.
