Watching the HBO 24/7 show of their upcoming fight has me wanting to watch it. Should be a really good fight.

Should be a good fight, even if you don't like Oscar dude is pretty sick in the ring. Not sure who will win, I don't exactly have a favorite but it should be worth watching for sure.

I'm sure the boxing enthusiasts will flame me for this, but after watching MMA, I have a hard time getting excited about 12 rounds of jab boxing.

by MMA are you talking about UFC? UFC is meh to me, a lot of 2 dudes on the ground trying to press the other dudes neck into the ground until they either get stood up for lack of action or the round ends.

At least in boxing if they hug the ref breaks it up, UFC should follow and not let them roll around ont he ground doing nothing for 2 minutes before making them stand up.

problem is what you see as nothing happening in a lot of case's is wrong. you get 2 good wrestlers it may look like nothing is going on besides them changing arm positione etc with a occasional roll. but there is actually a lot going on.

but to often you get a striker who gets on top or bottom and just holds on until the ref stands them up. those do tick me off.

oh and i expect Mayweather to win.

Two questions: What are the odds on the fight, and two, does time warner cable do the fight in HD PPV?

Oscar used to be good, but then he started being a pu$$y in the ring when he fought with Tito Trinidad and thereafter.

1. Odds are 2:1 Mayweather. Used to be 3:1 since Mayweather was considered godlike, but now its dropped down to 2:1 I think.

2. No idea. $60PPV too rich for my blood.

De La Hoya has passed his prime. Should be an easy fight for Mayweather. This could be the last big money fight for boxing in a while.
