DDRII1066 only regestering as 800 plz help

My system specs are in my sig. The bios will only let me go up to 800MHz with my ram, it also autodetects it as DDRII 800. Is this some kind of compatibility problem?

that is b/c the max JEDEC spec for ddr2 ram is pc2-6400 (800MHz). you'll have to manually override that setting and set bump the vDimm up as well as the frequency if you want to run it at 1066MHz

You will need to mess with HTT/FSB and Cpu Divisor. As of right now I think Phenom MCH has some problems with high ram speeds though.

Phenom seems to have a lot of problems with everything especially that level 3 cache bug. I'm really starting to hate AMD for all this cr** they are doing.
I believe that a later bios should adress your ram issue. I have an ASUS M2N-E that had one hundred problems in the beginning, and they were all fixed with some 5 or 6 bios flashes. Waiting is the best thing for you to do right now.
