Does anyone know some good H2H comparisons of 845G MB running at say 160mhz FSB and near 400mhz DDR compared to
850E boards running 1066PC ram?
I was looking at the recent prices of the RDRAM and 800mhz/1066 is really not that expensive compared to say cosair 3200.
I was all set to go DDR until I started looking at hte prices.
I figure DDR is obsolete anyway after DDR-II comes out. Although it pains me to give RAMBUS money, I just wonder if it is easier and more stable to go with an 850e chipset.
I want to run 1GB of RAM also.
Also how well does 800mhz RAM overclock?
