What is the difference in DDR333 PC-2700-266Mhz and DDR PC-2100-266Mhz and why is the DDR333 PC-2700 selling for less money? I am buying a new PC and the option for DDR333 makes the PC less than choosing the PC-2100. I thought the PC-2700 was supposed to be superior?

This belongs in general hardware. It will probably get locked once the mods see it. pc2700 is ram running at ddr 166 instead off ddr 133. you can overclock pc2100 to pc2700 levels, but pc2700 ram is certified to go at that speed. pc2100 is certified to go at that speed. Just like you can buy a p4 1.6a that will run at 2.2 ghz, but it's only guaranteed to 1.6, while if you buy an actual p4 2.2ghz it's guaranteed to work at taht speed.
