DDR333 & 845G motherboards

I am in the market for an 845G-based motherboard, largely because I have read that that chipset supports DDR333. Yet I have visited the manufacturers' web pages for several 845G-based boards, and they all say mention support for PC2100, but not PC2700. Why is that?
