Fabs haven't been profitable for most of the past decade, so the construction of them relative to supply has slowed down dramatically. Especially with the 'financial crisis' of the past few years.
Hence, I would expect prices to remain stable, if not to rise going forward. Couple that with USD$ devaluation, and it is somewhat likely that the absolute bottom in the DRAM market occurred last year.
Good thing memory is just a very small fraction of the cost of a computer and its software. A doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling of prices probably wouldn't hurt most consumers.
