ddr3 performance number +win7

I built a new system i5-650 with 4gig of ddr3 memory. I ordered WIN7 for 64 bit application. I was sent the 32 bit version. So, I installed it while waiting for the 64 bit version. Running 32bit version , my win7 memory performance # was 7.1 . When I installed the 64 bit version of win7, the oerf # for memory dropped to 5.8. All the other perf #s remained the same. Did the memory actually slow down? I have installed all available patches for win7.

No the memory did not change. It's possible Windows 7 64-bit requires more memory hence the lower score?

I was thinking something along this line. It is possible that the amount of memory the OS can use changes the score and that the 64bit version is giving a more realistic indication of the performance value and not just saying "lots of RAM WEEeeeeeeee".
