DDR3 Cmd Rate (T) question

In my BIOS, I manually set my RAM timings (as per my sig). I set my command rate (T) to 1. Everything works fine and stable at 1.58 volts.

However, at some point (hours) after I first boot up my PC, the system will change the T setting to 2 without me knowing. If I reboot, the BIOS setting is still 1 and the PC comes back on to 1. But after a few hours, it will revert to 2 again.

This is not a huge issue, but I want to know why it is happening. It does slow my memory down by 3-4%, which I will not lose sleep over. But if there is an easy fix or solution, I would like to try it.

So I bought new RAM to see if I can clear up this issue.

Now, not only is my CMD rate changing, but also my CAS setting. This happens everytime my computer goes to sleep.

Before Sleep: 7-7-7-24 CR1
After Sleep: 8-7-7-24 CR2

Any thoughts?

I'd have to go with some kind of BIOS bug.
Are you on the latest BIOS?

If not, an update might very well be in order.

Latest and greatest BIOS.

I am stumped here and I dont know if contacting Gigabyte will do any good.

I'd write gigabyte a detailed/polite email asking if they can help solve the problem, it's worth a shot.
Otherwise you'd likely have to find someone with the same motherboard who has jumped thru the same hoops.
