I need some memory for a new build with a BIOSTAR TZ75B LGA 1155 Intel Z75 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS.

They have a limited list of supported memory modules.

I am going for stability and long term use. I notice the basic memory runs at cas11 but there is a lot of cas9 chips out there. In the past I have found that performance memory, especially when used in dual channel, tends to go bad in a couple of years. I want to run two 4GB sticks so I am hesitant of going with the Cas9 memory.

How much of a hit will take on Cas11? I am pairing it with a non overclocked Ivy Bridge Quad Core i5 @ 3.4 and will use the built in graphics.

Can anyone tell me the state of the art of the performance memory? If I am not concerned about the last bit of performance will Cas11 be close to Cas9 enough that I won't care?

Thanks
