DDR3 1:1 or 1:2?

So, with my DDR3 1600, I get errors at the factory standards (v, timings, etc.) using OCCT RAM infinity test. If I run it at 1:1 setting the DRAM mhz to 800Mhz with 400fsb I can overclock the hell out of it with tight timings too. At 1:2 and DDR3 1333 (333fsb or 667mhz) It seems to be fine at tight timings so the standards i'm sure will not error. What should I do? 1:1 or 1:2?
