DDR2 Sodimm Question

I got a Toshiba L25-S119 that I picked up in one of the Black Friday deals this year for 400 bucks. I haven't really been playing around with it much, but I noticed that my PC2-3200 memory bandwidth is about equal with PC2100 memory, which makes me a sad sad panda. In Sandra Memory bench I get Int Buff'd iSSE2 1974 MB/s and Float is drastically lower at 1973 MB/s so with about 62% bandwidth efficiency. I've been comparing my results to this page http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2306&p=5 where the worst performing Geil Pc2-4300 gets 2792 MB/s with a 2792/4300= 65% bandwidth efficiency and the best about 75%. So I'm just wondering if this is about par for DDR2 Sodimm's, after all it is just 3% lower than desktop DDR2. It is depressing that it runs at DDR266 speeds since it was advertised as DDR2, PC4200 memory (since the chips themselves are PC2-4200, but they run at 400fsb), forcing me to see a pyschologist over this massive injury to my e-penis.

Second Question: is laptop DDR2 (200 pins) slower than desktop DDR2 (240 pins) due to the number of pins alone? Internally they are the same, right?
