So I currently have an abit IP35. I am running Crucial Ballistix 2x1GB DDR2 800. I currently have it set at stock timings 4-4-4-12 1T 800mhz. I just purchased 2x2GB of the same Crucial Ballistix. I am trying to accomplish running all four sticks for 6GB. Do you think I will run into any issues doing this? I have never had very good luck running four sticks in my previous 939 boards but im hoping this board is different. Can I still maintain dual channel and above timings with 4 sticks?

I dont have the ram yet it is being shipped.

you might need to add more ram voltage but if the new ram can run those timings, you shouldn't have an issue.

Im currently running 2.2v on my ram now. I had to do this to get it to go into 1T command rate. I know it is high but I have been running it this way for over a year with no issues. Heat seems to be a non issue in my case.

I wouldn't run voltage that high without active cooling on the ram sticks. Do you have a fan on them?

sure won't get 1t with 4 sticks...

and the sticks aren't the 'same' at all... probably best to put the bigger sticks in the primary slots and the little ones in the secondary...

i bought a second set of ocz sli 1066 memory that was the same part number and the chips (and timings@voltage) were different... very annoying... your 2 sets are probably totally different drams...

My Ballistix burned out on my IP35-E. No OC on them, I've heard that many Ballistix burn out, but haven't followed up to be sure. I replaced mine recently.
