I want to reload my PC with Win7 Pro 64bit soon cause it just seems like it's time to do a fresh install so I might as well jump to Win7. PC is acting squirrely lately and it's WinXP.

Currently have Crucial Ballistix 2x1gb in there (had 4x1gb, but one failed)

PC is running overclocked at 3Ghz right now with this processor;
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe 2.13GHz 2M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor

On a GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard.

So I was thinking I would get a 2x2gb kit. Can I run it with my current RAM, I would assume so? But then do I need to match Voltage and Latency on the new ones?

Thanks everyone!

Ok, since I can't find the memory stick.......do I need to make sure new RAM matches the same timing and voltage of the existing two sticks? So if I have 4-4-4-12, 2.2v then my new stuff needs to be the same?

Thanks

I can tell you from experience 965P-DS3 doesnt like 4 sticks together. Doing so forced me to drop my stable FSB to 333MHz. Get the 2x2GB instead and sell of the old RAM.
